What is up everybody?!! Sorry for three blogs in three days or hopefully you’re welcome..? I just wanted to check in really quick to give you some logistical updates as April and my time here in Guatemala are quickly coming towards the end.
I hinted a few blogs ago at the country we are going to next, by saying my flesh was not super excited about it. I was really pumped to be going to Peru, so when we got the news we were no longer going there I was disappointed. My flesh was excited to be outside of North America for the first time and seeing Machu Picchu would be amazing. This meaning we will not be leaving North America, at least not yet. We will be spending month 5 and 6, or May and June in the country of Honduras!
After receiving that news, I had to give a heart check to my desires to experience different parts of the world and to check off new countries as I have technically been to Honduras before. God was reminding me that there are more important things than my flesh’s desires. God is changing our plans to Honduras for a reason, so I am going to trust that there is something there for us as a squad and me. I will of course be sure to give more details on what is to come with ministry and everything in Honduras probably once I get there.
The next logistical announcement is that going into Honduras we are going to be placed into new teams. Which is scary honestly. I love my team a lot and they have become family. Going into the desert months (middle months) of the race, to a country that could very easily be very uncomfortable, with a brand-new team to learn how to live and work with has the potential to be a lot. Hoping and praying it will be another team that will gel well. Despite the worry that comes with this it is a new challenge that in a way I am excited for just to switch things up quite a bit.
So yeah, think that is it for now. Have about three weeks left here in Guatemala so wanted to announce the next country for y’all.
Here is my call to action with this blog. Christians we get to go to Heaven with everything we could ever want so let us not worry too much about satisfying our flesh however that may look for you. God has bigger plans, lean into them and trust Him.
Love y’all! Jesus Loves you a lot more!
