HI FRIENDS!!

So I just got back from a week long training camp in Georgia! I finally got to meet my squad, and let me tell ya they are amazing!! I am so pumped, when you get a group of people together with the same mission of loving God and loving people the bond will quickly be incredible. The amount of love each person has to give is inspiring. I have so much I could share about training camp, but will do my best to keep this short to make it more readable.

I came into training camp a little nervous not going to lie. I was worried about not showing my true self to my teammates. I was also worried about how I could fit into the purpose of this squad. This group however made it so easy to be yourself and feel at home. One area we focused on a lot throughout the week is the body of the Christ. Every person is created for a unique purpose to serve in the body. We were taught to support the different gifts that each person in our squad or more specifically our team can give. Being active in missions and ministry comes from how great God is, not how great you are. Every person has something to offer to the kingdom of God.

The second area I want to highlight is is to not be religious! Don't try to walk with Christ by simply checking off boxes. You walk with Him relationally! Walk through life with Him, dying to yourself each day. Fight to grow your relationship with the father, son, and holy spirit separately as well as together. Make your relationship with God your own! Just because your relationship with God is your own does not mean you do it alone, a community to grow your relationship with God through support, vulnerability, and intimacy is key.

I want this journey to be one where you can grow with me. This journey shouldn't be just my own. I have found a great community in this team, but still very much need my community back home. So I wanted to highlight lessons, but if you want to hear more about what specifically training camp looked like please hit me up!!

Above is the entire H Squad!

Above is the team I will be starting the World Race with! (From L to R: Me, Brianne, Rachel, Tymon, Daniel, and Annie)
